For the Mom behind the diagnosis. The one that often feels unseen.

When everyone else wants to talk about the disability. We talk about you, the parent.

Because there's no Hallmark card for when your kid gets a lifelong diagnosis.

No casserole when it's a chronic issue with no beginning middle or end.

Just a "praying for y'all" or a "I don't know how you do it" and a world that doesn't know what to say, so it says something pithy or says nothing.

They call you a superhero.

You help kids out of cars that shouldn't need help.

You wipe butts into the teen years.

You give medicine multiple times a day without missing once.

You sit in more doctor's appointments than most people will see in a lifetime.

You do things every single day that most parents will never have to do.

And you do it because you love them,  but love doesn't negate exhaustion.

This isn't just for autism.
This is for every parent whose child has a diagnosis that doesn't have an end date.

Hi, my name is Lacy

I'm Lacy. I've been a health coach for 15 years.

 I'm also a somatic practitioner.
And I'm the mom of two kids with severe autism and CP.

When we adopted my youngest, I had NO idea what was to come. Her severe autism diagnosis rocked me to my core.

When we adopted her sister, we could never have known that her journey would require nearly half a dozen surgeries and interventions far past what anyone prepared us for.

And like you, I am chronically burnt out and struggle daily.

but...
I still work out. I still take care of myself.
I have a life I actually like inside this life.
And I spent a long time wondering why nobody was building a community that reflected that, that said yes, this
is hard AND we don't have to be miserable.

That wasn't just a space to vent, but a space to take action, learn and be resourced. To be heard, seen and SERVED.

So I built it.

I've been called the realest special needs mom people follow.

 I take that seriously.

Parents Like Us is built on that, honesty first, and then the tools to actually move forward in life.

Here, you matter.

What will you experience inside of Parents like Us...

Monthly Support Call

Real conversations with your peers about things that matter to you. These calls will be a blend of learning, sharing and upholding each other. This isn't a free for all vent session, but a space to hold each other in the hard stuff.

Monthly Expert
Guest Speaker

Estate planning. Early Mid and Late Diagnosis planning,
IEP advocacy. Insurance navigation. Taxes. The professionals you need but can never afford to access alone. We bring
them to you once a month so you don't have to find them.

State-by-State
Resource Map

A community-built board where members share
free resources by state — Facebook groups,
local programs, services, therapists. I want to save you time and endless googling, this will grow over time.

Monthly Motivation Challenges

Movement, steps, nutrition. Low pressure,
community-driven. A gentle reminder that your
body matters too. Participate on the months it makes sense, leave it on the months it doesn't.

Make Money as a
Special Needs Parent

You didn't lose your ambition but you can't do it the way you used to. Resources, community conversations, and real tools to help you make money while caring for your child.

The Real Talk Real Solutions Space

A separate, opt-in area for the harder
conversations — grief, caregiver burnout,
puberty, relationships, the stuff that needs its
own room. Each topic will have a space to share and a space to get resources to move through. I want you to be seen AND empowered.

Weekly Check In

A weekly Check in where I find out what YOU need so I can better serve YOU. This can be filled out anonymously or by name if you are requesting support. This allows me to make sure I always know what is important to you.

Before I built this, I asked over 100 special needs parents what they needed. I created Parents like Us based on that feedback.

"If there is complaining I want it to come WITH action."

"I don't have time to cry, let alone search for all the answers."

"Just someone who understands and wants to help me. That's all I need."

"I feel paralyzed out of exhaustion and have to take it day by day."

"I am all they have. I push through when I'm sick, when I'm tired, when I'm hurting."

"I don't have anyone in a situation like mine to vent or talk to or who can help me navigate this life."

If any of these resonate, this space is for you.

FAQs

Why Isn't This Free?
Two reasons. Free communities attract trolls and people who aren't serious. A paywall keeps this space safe and private for the women who actually need it. Second, what's inside costs real money to deliver. Expert speakers, a private platform, real support. You deserve something built properly. $44 a month is the cost of that. If you're looking for a free platform, please message me and I'll be happy to share a resource with you.
Can I join if I don't have a child with a disability?
Yes, and here's why. You can participate in the monthly challenge, do the workouts, learn about taking care of yourself, but also...It is very important to me that "regular Moms" are in our space. WHY?  Because everyone complains about how no one gets their life. WE HAVE TO CREATE SPACES FOR THEM TO LEARN. If this space wasn't open to other women, then we are closing off a space for others to LEARN. If you have a friend or family member that has a child with a disability, this space is a great place to be served and learn.
What is included in my membership?
Every month you get a community support call, an expert guest speaker, access to our state-by-state resource map, monthly motivation challenge, the Real Talk Real Solutions space, resources to help you make money as a special needs parent, and a weekly check in where Coach Lacy addresses what you actually need.
How do I access the community?
After you sign up you'll receive a welcome email with a link to join our Circle community. Download
the Circle app on your phone for the best experience. Everything lives inside Circle.
What if I'm not tech savvy, is Circle hard to use?
Circle is one of the simplest platforms out there. If you can use Facebook you can use Circle.
Download the app, click the link in your welcome email, and you're in. Your welcome space
includes a video walkthrough so you know exactly where everything is from day one. And if you
get stuck just email team@mycoachlacy.com and we'll walk you through it.
What if I can't make the live calls?
Every call is recorded and posted in the Call Recordings space inside Circle. You can watch at
2am in between medicine doses if that's what works for your life. You never have to miss anything
because your kid had a hard day.
What time are the calls?
Call times will be posted in the Call Schedule space inside the community. I will always give at
least two weeks notice so you can plan around it. I know your schedule is not your own.
How is this different from Facebook groups?
Facebook groups are free, public, unmoderated, and exhausting. Anyone can join, anything can
be said, and the algorithm serves you the most dramatic content first. Parents Like Us is a private,
intentional, curated community on Circle, a platform built specifically for communities like this.
Your information stays private. The culture is held. And I actually show up here. This is not a group
I created and abandoned. This is something I built because I needed it too.
Can my husband or partner join too?
Parents Like Us is built primarily for moms and female caregivers. That's who I am, that's who my
content speaks to, and that's the community culture we're building. That said if you have a partner
who is deeply involved in caregiving and wants to be part of something like this reach out to
team@mycoachlacy.com and we'll talk about it.
Is what I share kept private?
Completely. Parents Like Us is a private community, nothing is visible to the public or
searchable on the internet. Our community rules strictly prohibit screenshotting, sharing, or
repeating anything said inside this space. What happens in Parents Like Us stays in Parents Like
Us. You can share your real life here without fear.
How do I cancel?
Simply email team@mycoachlacy.com within 72 hours of your billing date
and our team will take care of everything within 24-48 hours. Please send these to this email vs reaching out to Lacy directly.

You've been invisible long enough.
